I can't believe that no one has a comment on Merri Bull's page. She and her sister Terri Bull both have beautiful voices. I heard them singing in a dinner club one night in Houston years ago. The cigarette smoke was so thick that you could cut it with a knife. I was amazed that they could sing in that atmosphere. They were such pretty girls. I am sad that she is gone and wonder where Terri is.

I used to hang out with the twins and they had the most beautiful voices in high school.  They were singing professionally then too.  And the wigs they had!  I have very warm and fond memories of both of them.

I too remember the twins, I was unaware of Merris' passing.  You are correct they both had beautiful voices.  I had the privilege of being in Choir with them at Black and Waltrip.  RIP Merri.

I am another classmate friend that thought fondly of the twins. Sweet would always be the first thought from most if not all.  I never knew about their singing talent, would have enjoyed hearing as well.  So sad to learn of her passing.  No!, is my first thought, she was too young, because she will always be young and beautiful, sweet and kind, friendly and smiling in my mind.  God Bless you and yours, In Christ- Lynn Fowler Martin

Hope the family sees this post.  I lived around the block from them while we were growing up.  We went to Stevens Elementary and I believe we were at Black together also, then on to Waltrip.  Merri and Terri were so cool.  They did not seem to be afraid of anything.  They helped me learn how to roller skate.  We used to practice on the sidewalk on TC Jester between my house and theirs.

I so admired them from elementary on.  Me, them and Carol Wilson used to hang out.  I remember when Merri and Terri were in school plays at Stevens.  I am so sorry to hear of her passing.  Please reply and let me know how and what the family is doing.  Debra Thompson Smith

I would like to thank Terry Lee-Rosing for allowing me to be a guest member.....

I am the oldest son of Terri Bull (Scully)  and the nephew of Merri.... or as I called her Mimi. I guess I had a problem with my "r's" as a kid haha.. but the name stuck.....

I just wanted to comment on this page because it has brought back so many great memories.

I noticed a lot of comments on my mom and aunt's voices... and let me tell you all that their voices only got better...  I remember every time I ever heard the "twins" sing and I will never forget it....  I have to gloat a bit here haha... I am a singer, I am currently a soloist at the Metropolitan Opera and I have no doubt most if not all of my success is due to the many times I got to hear the "twins" sing... you can't grow up hearing that kinda perfection and not learn a few things  ;-)

I also noticed the "fearless" comment...  AMEN to that... I've never met 2 stronger women in my life...  quite an inspiration to a young kid....

My aunt (Mimi) has been gone now for quite awhile but there isn't a day that we all don't think about her..... She was an amazing woman and is missed by many many people...

Thank you all for posting such wonderful things, it is really wonderful to see such great things written about someone that you loved so much....

please keep the comments coming, I promise they are read and appreciated!
