The 3 things I remember most about Aaron was his popcorn popping at Black Jr High for BB games, his fight with Bobby David also at Black and then his Honda 90 which he could get to top out around 30 mph.  He was sort of an unusual guy but really very funny and always laughing.  I forget which reunion it was maybe the 10 year he was down to under 200 pounds and looking good and lean.  He won the award for most changed classmate.

RIP..

I remember Mc Gill more at black than Waltrip. I know that he suffered with his weight and I know he is in a better place now. I felt like he was a friend, even though he got me and Jimmy Sloan and Featherstone in trouble for stealing popcorn from his stand. We got swats from Coach Cox and had to sit out a game... but we deserved it! Mc Gill had a nice smile and a nice way about him. I know he touched my life in a positive way.

I had a class at Waltrip with Aaron.  He always was set up with a little table and regular chair in a classroom, because we had weird tight desks to deal with.  In this particular class I remember Eddie Reagan was in it, too.  He was always about two notches above all other noise levels in the class room and would "whisper" to Aaron all during class, calling him, "Slim".  I never heard him call him anything else, so decided it was just a permanent nickname, rather than torturous name calling.  Eddie never said anything ugly, that I could here.  Oddly, they are both in a better place now.  Rest in peace, guys.
