Eddie was such a free spirit in school.  Those glasses that said I see the bright side of all that is going on.  Those shoe, the desert boots, that said I walk a different path from all other.  He was so cute and so laid back.

I wish I had had the nerve to talk to him.

I was just too shy.

Eddie had gone back to school and was working toward his Associates Degree in Human Service Technology. The reason I know this is because my husband was his instructor. Rich kept mentioning Ed Reagan. I finally dragged out my yearbook and said, "is this him?"

Eddie had changed a bit over the years but the sparkle in those brown eyes was the same. He had a huge heart and a great passion for working with the homeless. His internship/practicum was at "Search" where he was doing some phenomenal work. His wife's name was Tina Brady and I'm not exactly sure when he died but I would guess it's been at least 5 or 6 years.

He had a good soul...

Eddie was such a character.  He made me laugh.  I enjoyed having him around because he was such a free spirit....

I sat behind Eddie in homeroom every day for three years and next to him at graduation.  Every morning we would play the the game "what music did I (Eddie) listen to before school this morning?"  Jimi Hendrix? The Doors? Janis? Quicksilver? The Who? The Beatles? The Stones?  If I guessed Janis I was likely to be right most of the time.

Two words sum up Eddie - the coolest!

Eddie was one of the coolest people in our school! Music lover--yes   Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Stones and he was indeed a special soul. Patty I know this made a huge impact on you and let's just know he is in a special place now!

I had been hanging out as much as I could manage with Eddie in his last few years. I ran sound for his wedding (to Tina) reception near NASA, and my band played too. I kept trying to see him shortly before his death, but he was always too tired. After he died, I found out it was because of his liver.

I went to his funeral and have a card from it around here somewhere. When I find it, I'll post the date here. I believe it was November 5 of 2005 (or 2004) because shortly before he had just been to see Brian Wilson perform Smile live.

I miss Eddie and think of him often.
