Paula Thomas Spradlin died in 2005 in Baku, Azerbaijan. We were married for 34 years and we traveled the world.  She went places that a small town girl from Oklahoma never expected to visit. We walked arm-in-arm across Red Square in total disbelief that we were really there.

She was a wonderful wife, a stellar mom, and a steadfast partner.  She will always be missed.

Was sad to learn of Paula's passing. I remember Paula from school as a friend, riding to school together for a short time and visiting back and forth to her house and mine some. After graduation, I lost contact with her. But I can see from the loving tribute Scott, she was loved very much by her family and had a full life. I am sorry for the loss to her family and at such a young age. She was a special person.

I was shocked when I found out Paula had passed away.  I loved being around Paula.  She was so much fun and always had something going on.... Life of the party.  I enjoyed seeing her at the class reunions.  She and Scott had a wonderful life together.  She is forever in my heart and missed.

I'm overwhelmed by my emotions about Paula. I'll have to say something better later.

I actually treasure more the visits we had in the years before she and Scott went off to Eastern Europe and all those journeys, than the silly fun we had in high school. She was an amazing mom, like Scott said. You could see how her kids adored her.

And Scott. They were wonderful together.

I miss you, Paula.
