Timothy (Tim) Eagle

Thanks Terry Lee for all you do, I never called Eagle by his name Thomas, Tommy,or Tom, I always called him Eagle !!. All in all he was a good twin brother. He got COVID-19 about 2 to 3 months ago and to the amazement of his doctor he survived.( He was diabetic, had COPD, and heart issues) however he passed away because of heart failure. We're not having a service for him but sending him out to Houston National cemetery, where he will have his 15 minute burial and be laid to rest with our mom and dad. It's a little sad but Patty and I were prepared for this, as Eagle would say " no biggie "

He was larger than life with an outsized personality, never afraid to call BS, always up for fun times and big laughs. Reminded me a lot of your dad, and for good reason. It was great to see him at the last reunion. RIP Tommy. Your struggles are over.

My condolences to you and your family. Some of my best memories was playing baseball with you to guys. Tom was the catcher when I was pitching when U2 guys played on the Dodgers with me. I also went with him when he was inducted into the Air Force and went to visit him at Lackland Air Force Base. He was loved by everybody. Thanks Tom for giving me such wonderful memories back when we were young .

I also had the privilege of growing up with Tommy Eagle and most of my memories are playing baseball at Jaycee Park in Timbergrove. I remember of always being happy when both Tim and Tommy played on our team. My Daddy who coached us a few times always remarked how hard Tommy played the game and how tough a competitor he was. Best catcher I ever played with. I'm sharing a couple of team pictures from those days gone past and will remember Tommy the way I knew him then. My condolences go out to his family and friends and although he's gone, he won't be forgotten!

Tommy was a fixture in the neighborhood and definitely at the ballpark. My condolences to the Eagle family.

Timmy, when you mentioned you always called him Eagle, the song, Fly Like An Eagle (Steve Miller Band) immediately came to mind. I looked up the lyrics and then listened to the music. It fits...

Of course I had no history with him in sports, I just have such fond memories of him being genuinely a good guy.

You're right Timmy (Garcia), gone but not forgotten...

I was Lucky to live next door to the Eagle Family, starting @ age 6. Our 2 families were very close - so, I had 3 brothers, next door. Two brothers that were 8 days younger than me. I could go on about so many Funny Stories! We explored the Bayou, caught Tadpoles, climbed trees, dug foxholes, played ball games in the Circle, or football before a home took up the space, & then (me) watching many ball games! Tom's sweet heart and laughter is what I will always remember. He was such a good friend that everytime we came home he would always make sure to visit us! He & my husband (& my oldest) could talk & laugh for Hours!
Tim,I truly hurt for you. Our families are down to one Sibling left, with us. I Thank God that you have such a Beautiful & Strong wife (Patty), 2 Gorgeous daughters and their families.
May God wrap his Loving Arms around You All & be assured Tom is Alive through Us All!
Hope to see you, soon!💙
