I'll always remember Jody (sic) as my "first date". We were at Hamilton Junior High and went to the Garden Oaks movie theatre (don't remember the movie......Hmmm); my father took and picked us up. We dated awhile; my most memorable was when he took me to hear Pete Fountain play (New Orleans jazz clarinetist; Jody and I each played clarinet). I still think of him each time I pass near the house in which he grew up--just off West TC Jester in the newer part of Timbergrove. I'm heartbroken that I did not know of his passing and will always wonder why such a nice guy had to depart this life so early. Rest In Peace, Jody.
Sincerely,
Paula Orsag
