David Wood, if I may say so in hindsight, was one of the most wonderful and intelligent people I ever met while at Waltrip. Although I was a "model student" while there, I had the wonderful opportunity to get to know David in the Literature Club, and I found him to be one of the truly outstanding intellects at Waltrip. I know he had some run-ins with the administration, but I now know that he was doing nothing more than following his calling. I am greatful to have known him.
